Our promise
No third-party cookies. Not now, not as a fallback.
Most analytics tools say 'cookieless' and quietly keep a fingerprint in their back pocket. We don't. Headless Builds measures commerce using only the first-party signals your store already owns.
What we promise
- Identity is a first-party id, scoped to your domain and nowhere else.
- No device fingerprinting — not for accuracy, not for recovery, never.
- No third-party cookies set from our SDK, in any browser, ever.
- No cross-site graph: two merchants never share a shopper.
- Server-side stitching, so an ad blocker can't quietly break your numbers.
- If a browser kills a tracking method tomorrow, your attribution doesn't move.
Why this holds up
If there are no third-party cookies, how do you attribute at all?+
The same way your store already remembers a cart: a first-party identifier you control. We stitch touches to that id on the server, then bind it to the order when checkout completes — no cross-site signal required.
Doesn't dropping fingerprinting hurt accuracy?+
It improves it. Fingerprints degrade the moment a browser ships a privacy update. First-party server-side stitching survives those updates, so your historical reports stay consistent instead of stair-stepping every quarter.
What happens when the next privacy change lands?+
Nothing on your end. Because we never depended on the techniques browsers are deprecating, there's no scramble, no migration, and no gap in your data.
Is this enough for GDPR and CCPA?+
It's the right architecture for it: less data, scoped tightly, never sold. Pair it with your own consent flow and our DPA and you're on solid footing. Talk to your counsel for specifics.
Measure everything. Track no one.
See first-party attribution running live, then connect your own store and watch it work.
